Ivory Column, Black Break

Flip the black-top-white-shoe logic from Navy Undertow on its head: white puff-sleeve top up top, black pencil skirt doing the breaking-up down below, white platform stiletto picking the white back up at the floor so the eye travels top to bottom on purpose. The black cinch belt at the waist keeps the white top from reading shapeless and gives the black skirt something to visually connect to above the hem. Nothing here claims a sexy element hard — the skirt sits at the knee, the neckline's a simple puff sleeve.
